Hello!
Pattern Law provides premier representation focusing on Family Expansion Counseling and Family Law, Estate Planning, LGBTQIA+ Law, and Art Law.
Founded by lawyer and artist Theo Ciccarelli Cornetta (they/them), Pattern Law draws on the perspective that legal representation should be accessible to all. Rooted in principles of compassion and community, Pattern Law’s approach emphasizes the importance of legal services that foster safety, empathy, and understanding, thereby making the legal system more approachable and less intimidating.
About the Founder: Theo Ciccarelli Cornetta, Esq.
Theo is an attorney and artist. They have their law degree and Master of Fine Arts both from Temple University. They are licensed in Pennsylvania and passionate about providing compassionate, empowering, and accessible legal services. Their personal stake in family law and estate planning is rooted in their existence as a trans person from a multigenerational queer family, as well as their experiences with chronic illness.
Ciccarelli Cornetta pursued a law degree to gain a deeper understanding of a legal system that was not designed to support their community, with the goal of fostering greater awareness and advocacy for the people they are committed to supporting. They started making art in earnest while seeking their JD, and art became their tool for coping with the stress and secondary trauma of law school and working with survivors of violence. In their practice as both a lawyer and artist, they have committed to retaining these two parts of themself: they love the intellectual and political work of being a lawyer, and they love showing up for their community by showing compassion for others. Pattern Law is a venture in combining these two worlds, respecting and empowering the threads of their life as a tool for community care.
Pattern Law is happy to call South Philly home, but open to represent in cases across Pennsylvania.
